TheLagoons &Flats:

About 10 miles north of Cozumel lays the three most beautiful lagoonson the island famously known asMontecristo, Paso Balem and Rio de la Plata. These lagoons are a combination of inlets, coves, mangroves, sandy flats, coral flats, grassy flats, mud flats and shallow waters which forms the perfect habitat for theteeming bonefish, large permit, small snook and tarpon along with many other lagoon fish dwellers.

Fly fishing for bonefish is a great deal all year round, especially wading. Also, duringthe months of March through December you can find some great permit fishing weighing sometimes in excessof 25 pounds.

Fishing Information:

The trip consist basically of bonefishing in these flats. While fishing for bonefish you will also have the chance to catch permit,snook, tarponalong withladyfish, mangrove snapper, jack, triggerfish, small shark,barracuda, etc.in a single or more fishing days.

We operate4 flats fishing boats from 23 to 25 powered with 48 and 60 H.P. Yamaha motors, with the latest on safety equipment.

This fishing is done mainly wading so you must bring a pair of waderssuch as wading flats boots, diving boots, tennis shoes, hard sole water socks, strapped sandals, etc. You must also bring a pair of good polarized sun glasses for fishing, a convenient hat, plenty of sun block lotion (# 50 +), bug spray, comfortable light clothing andplease, dont forgetyour camera.

Rates & Reservations:

The rate for a full day (8hour trip) for 1 or 2 anglers is . . . . . . .$385 USD

The rate for a 6 hour trip for 1 or2 anglers is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $300 USD

The rate for a 4 hour trip for 1 or 2 anglers is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$275 USD

Any extra angler or pax. is $100 USD Maximum 3 anglers per boat.

A 50% deposit of the total cost of yourtrip is required at the time of your booking toreserve your boat.

These Rates Includes:

AnEnglish speaking guide expert on fly fishing and spin casting, cartransportation from the marina to your hotel or pier of arrival on Cozumel, box lunch (full days only), beer, cokes, plenty of purified bottled drinking water, plenty of purified ice andall the spinning rods and reels, handmade leaders, fluorocarbon shock tippets and plenty ofbait.

One of the good things about this place is that the fishing on these lagoons and flatsisgoodall year round due to the fact that the fishdon't migrate.
